Amaya López-Carromero, AKA MAUD THE MOTH, previews some songs from her forthcoming new album in a very cold auditorium built inside a shed in Edinburgh.
Pianodrome, down near the West Harbour in Newhaven is a community run DIY gig space run which hosts frequent free shows. All of the seating shown in the picture above is built entirely out of salvaged old pianos. If you have an unwanted old piano, they'll take it. If you want to adopt a piano, they'll sort you out.
Today's gig features Edinburgh-based Spanish singer/pianist MAUD THE MOTH, who you might recognise as the singer of the magnificent, but hard to describe, H E A T H Y L I V I N G. Adding to the international feel, we get a guest appearance from French violinist FAY GUIFFO on the new song 'EXUVIAE' which you can see in the attached video.
