Oliver Wardell play guitar in several bands of several genres, including BIG IRON, DISPOSABLE and this one. They're all noisy. He's here tonight with his Personnel to celebrate the release of their new album, 'OLIVER DIED ON THE WAY TO HIS HOME PLANET'.
Line-up:BRASSER: Glasgow post-punk/alt-rock duo who share a fondness for REUBEN with our headliners. Also, the 'best band in the world', according to Oliver.

OLIVER WARDELL AND THE PERSONNEL: Genre defying collective under the control of Mr. Wardell and his sensible jumper. There's funky bits, poppy bits, punky bits and metal-ly bits. There's a dreadlocked bass player and a perma-grinning drummer. And they are joined on the drums by BRASSER's Paul Mills for a raucous cover of REUBEN's 'Stuck in my Throat'
Oliver has, it seems, only rudimentary control over his right leg, which kicks out at random. Or maybe he's 'dancing'...
