LINE-UP:
ENUCLEATE: Local lads, fronted by the ubiquitous Ali Lauder of VOID OF LIGHT, OF SPIRE AND THRONE, etc. Very hefty.
SLUG GORE: Italian filth, grindy death-core sort of thing. Lots of very short songs about molluscs.
PENNY COFFIN: High quality death metal, playing their first ever headlining set in Edinburgh. Definitely not from Glasgow.
One of the most underwhelming bands I’ve ever seen. Their set at the Deicide show in Glasgow was painfully boring, so much so that it nearly put me to sleep. The quality of their death metal was subpar, lacking energy and any real intensity. A complete letdown. Dull.
