ALL DEEP ENDS: An unexpected treat. Banjo-led hardcore/country punk mash-up. Very fast, huge fun.

JOHANNA REY: High velocity hardcore from Birmingham. Not unusually for bands of this ilk, the singer spent most of his time in amongst the crowd, which is why he only makes fleeting appearances in the video.

ROW OF ASHES: London trio, out on tour with JOHANNA REY and KAKIHARA. A colossal blend of hardcore, doom and post-metal. I'd be more than happy to see them back in Edinburgh any time. My personal favourite from a top class line-up.

WE CAME FROM THE NORTH: Local post-rock veterans. You should all know what they look like by now.

Incidentally, I normally upload a single video from each band at each gig I attend. I have 27 WCFTN videos in my archive. There have been at least 2 WCFTN gigs where I didn't, for various reasons, record a video. So, I have seen them now nearly 30 times since 2012.
